Ares 3-12x 50mm Sniper Scope (SC-007)
The Ares SC-007 is a sniper scope with variable magnification from 3x to 12x and a 50mm objective lens. It gives a little more reach at the top of its range than a 3-10x scope while keeping a usable low setting for normal airsoft distances, which makes it a good fit for bolt-action rifles, DMRs and long AEGs.

A wider magnification range
At 3x you have a wide field of view for finding targets quickly and following movement. Winding up to 12x gives extra detail for observing distant positions, spotting a player through foliage or checking whether a hit has been called. Because the image becomes more sensitive to movement at high power, many players shoot at a moderate setting and use the top end mainly for observation.
Setting up and zeroing
Mount the scope with enough eye relief that you can see the full picture without crowding the eyepiece, especially if you wear a mask or goggles. Set your hop-up for your chosen BB weight, then shoot groups at a fixed target and adjust the turrets until the reticle sits on the group. Compatibility

Most airsoft rifles use a 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rail; you will need rings or a mount that suit both the scope tube and your rail. Make sure the 50mm objective clears the barrel and handguard, using higher rings if needed.
Care and maintenance
Keep the lenses covered when not in use and clean them only with a lens brush and microfibre cloth. Check that ring and mount screws are tight before each game, and recheck your zero after transport or a knock. A padded rifle case is the best protection for a scope of this size.
