Description
Ares SE-006E Amoeba SR25 Carbine (EFCC) AEG (Blue) (ARES-SE-006E-BLUE)
The Ares SE-006E is an SR25-pattern carbine AEG with Ares’s electronic fire control, as indicated by “EFCC” in the product name. This is the blue version (ARES-SE-006E-BLUE). It is finished in blue rather than the usual black, as the product name shows; please check the product photos for the exact finish.
The SR25 is a large-frame AR-pattern rifle, bigger and more substantial than an M4, and the carbine version keeps that look in a length that still handles well. Ares is known for its electronic fire control systems, which add programmable, crisp trigger response and electronic protection to the gearbox.
Compatibility
An international retailer lists the Ares SR25 Carbine as taking AR-10/SR-25 style AEG magazines, and lists Li-Po batteries with a Large Tamiya connector for it; please check with us which magazines and battery suit this SE-006E before ordering. Ares programming tools for its electronic fire control are sold separately. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs.
Care and maintenance
Disconnect and remove the battery after every game, and never store the rifle with the battery plugged in. Charge batteries with a suitable charger, never leave them charging unattended, and store them at a sensible storage charge somewhere cool and dry.
Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as poor or damaged BBs are the main cause of jams and hop-up wear. Clean the inner barrel regularly with a cleaning rod and a soft cloth, wipe the outside down after wet or muddy games, and keep the rifle somewhere dry between games.
Who is it for?
The blue Ares SR25 Carbine suits players who want a large-frame AR-pattern rifle with electronic fire control, and those looking for a distinctive coloured rifle with a long rail for optics.
Please note: Battery, charger and BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using airsoft replicas, and check your site’s rules and power limits before play.
