The Knee Capper is a custom build by based on the Ares Amoeba Striker, one of the most popular spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifles in airsoft. It is listed in blue. Custom builds take a proven base rifle and set it up to a particular specification, so please check the product photos for the exact configuration of this rifle.
The Striker earned its reputation by combining a short-stroke bolt, a highly adjustable stock and compatibility with widely available VSR-10 specification upgrade parts. That makes it an excellent foundation for a custom rifle and a platform you can keep developing as your skills grow.
Compatibility
The Striker platform takes Ares long or short 45-round Striker magazines. Internally it accepts AEG springs and VSR-10 specification cocking handles, hop-up buckings and inner barrels. As this is a custom build, please ask us before buying parts so we can confirm what is already fitted. Use high-quality, heavier BBs to get the best accuracy from a sniper rifle.
Care and maintenance
Store the rifle uncocked, and avoid dry-firing, which can damage the piston and cylinder. Clean the inner barrel regularly with a rod and lightly dampened patch, then dry it, as a clean barrel is essential for consistent accuracy. Use only high-quality seamless BBs. Wipe the rifle down after wet games and keep it in a padded case. Keep bolt and cylinder lubrication light and use only products suitable for airsoft.
