Ascend Airsoft KP1911 Custom Gas Blowback Pistol (Black – AS-KP1101)
The Ascend Airsoft KP1911 (AS-KP1101) is a black, metal gas blowback pistol built by WE for Ascend. It takes the classic 1911 and gives it a modern, custom-shop look, while keeping the standard 1911 ergonomics that make the design so easy to shoot well.
It is green gas powered, semi-automatic, and gives a satisfying recoil from its blowback slide. Because it works with WE and AW single-stack 1911 magazines and fits standard 1911 holsters, it slots neatly into an existing 1911 setup.
Design and build
The KP1911 keeps the familiar 1911 grip angle, single-stack frame and slim profile, so it carries well and points naturally. The modern custom styling sets it apart from a plain government-model 1911, and the metal build gives it a reassuring weight of around 0.81kg.
Ambidextrous features such as the slide safety make it comfortable to operate for both left- and right-handed shooters.
Performance
It has an adjustable hop-up for tuning the BB’s flight and a 26-round magazine. The gas blowback system cycles the slide on each shot, giving the strong recoil 1911 fans enjoy.
Use green gas or top gas only, as lighter fluid or butane will cause permanent damage.
Getting started
Charge the magazine with gas in short, steady bursts and let it rest briefly before shooting. Test-fire at a safe target and set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB’s flight is straight and level.
Practise reloads at home so they feel natural, and have the replica chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
Compatible with WE and AW single-stack 1911 magazines, which are widely available, and with standard 1911 holsters. Many WE 1911 parts will also suit the pistol, but check the listing of any upgrade before buying.
Do not use lighter fluid or butane gas.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight. Do not overfill, and let magazines warm up to room temperature in cold weather rather than heating them.
Wipe the moving parts and the outer barrel with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
