Description
Bada Bang Connected Targets Bluetooth System
The Bada Bang Connected Targets system is an interactive Bluetooth target that links to a smartphone or tablet app, turning practice into a game. A retailer listing for the BadaBang Interactive Target describes four 1.75-inch round target paddles set in a box that opens on a spring to act as its own backstop, catching missed shots.
It is designed for low-powered airguns, and the retailer says airsoft and BB pistols work well with it. It suits home shooters, families and anyone who wants a more engaging way to practise than a paper target, with challenges that test both speed and accuracy.
How it works
Switch the target on and pair it with the app over Bluetooth. The retailer describes two game modes that test speed and accuracy: in each stage you clear the level by beating a par time, and once all stages are cleared you can move further back for a greater challenge. A multiplayer mode lets you compete one-on-one in real time against players nearby or elsewhere, and you can set up profiles for different rifles and pistols and track your stats over time.
The four paddles fold down when the box is closed, so it packs away neatly for storage and transport.
Setting it up
The retailer lists the target box at about 13 x 7 x 2.65 inches and gives its power as three AA batteries, with the on/off switch on the back. Place it on a stable surface at a sensible distance, with a safe area behind it, and check the instructions for the maximum power the target is designed to take before using anything stronger than a pistol.
