Description
Crafty Catcher Big Hit Bag and Bait Booster Scopex and Squid 100ml
This 100ml liquid attractor from Crafty Catcher’s Big Hit range combines two well-known carp flavours: creamy Scopex and savoury squid. Bag and bait boosters are used to give hookbaits and feed a stronger flavour trail, helping to draw fish to your swim and onto your rig.
Scopex is one of the most famous carp flavours, with a sweet, creamy character, and squid adds a fishy, savoury edge. Together they make a bait that works with both sweet and fish-based baits, so this is a flexible liquid to keep in your bag.
How to use it
Soak hookbaits in a small amount of the liquid to glug them. Pour a little over pellets, boilies or particles before loading them into a PVA bag, mesh or spod. Add a splash to groundbait or Method mix as you wet it so the flavour runs through the whole mix.
The liquid is concentrated, so start with a small amount and build up. Follow the directions on the label and check whether it is PVA-friendly before using it in solid bags or with PVA string, as water-based liquids will dissolve PVA.
When it helps most
Boosters are most useful in cold water, when fish are less active, and on busy waters where fish have seen a lot of bait. Because this flavour combines sweet and savoury notes, it is a good choice when you are not sure which type of bait the fish will prefer on the day.
