Description
CYMA CM040I Assault Rifle Replica
The CYMA CM040I is an electric AK-pattern assault rifle replica (AEG) from CYMA’s CM range. The CM line is modelled on popular Russian assault rifles, and the CM040I is a tactical version that adds modern accessories to improve the ergonomics and the options for configuring this classic design.
CYMA is one of the most widely used airsoft manufacturers, known for affordable, robust AEGs that are easy to maintain and upgrade. The CM040I gives AK fans a modernised Kalashnikov with rails and an adjustable stock, so it is a practical choice for players who want the AK’s reliability with room for lights, grips and optics.
Compatibility
The CM040I takes AK-pattern AEG magazines. CYMA AK magazines are the safest choice, and most mainstream AK magazines fit, though some can be tight or loose, so test a spare before relying on it in a game. The quad rail takes standard 20mm accessories. Check the battery space and connector in the manual before buying a battery.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately, and charge LiPo batteries only on a supervised balance charger. Run a cleaning rod with a dry patch through the inner barrel every few games, and use good quality seamless BBs, as poor BBs are the most common cause of jams and hop-up wear.
Wipe the rifle down after wet or muddy games and let it dry before casing it. Check that the rail, stock and accessories are tight before each game, and have any gearbox work done by an experienced technician.
Who is it for?
For players who want an affordable, modernised AK with rails and an adjustable stock, and for anyone building a contemporary Eastern European or private military loadout.
Please note: A battery and charger are not listed as included, so please ask us if you need them. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and have the replica chronographed at your site before play.
