The WE P08 4 inch is a full metal gas blowback pistol modelled on the iconic P08 with its distinctive toggle-lock action, here in the short 4-inch S version and finished in black. This listing is a starter pack deal. Our range also includes the longer 6-inch WE P08.
WE is a well-respected maker of gas blowback pistols, and its P08 is one of the most characterful replicas around: the toggle on top rises and folds with every shot, just like the original. It is a favourite with collectors, reenactors and anyone who wants a sidearm with real personality. The 4-inch barrel keeps it compact and well balanced.
How it works
Gas stored in the magazine sends each BB down the barrel and also drives the action, so the toggle on top cycles with every shot, cocking the pistol and chambering the next round. Watching the toggle rise and fall is a large part of the P08’s appeal. As with all gas pistols, performance drops as the magazine cools on cold days, so keep spare magazines warm in an inside pocket.
Build and performance
A US retailer lists the WE P08 4-inch at an overall length of about 226mm (8.9 inches) with a 4-inch barrel, a weight of about 835g, full metal construction, a 15-round magazine and an adjustable hop-up, running on green gas or propane. Compatibility

Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay seated. Do not overfill, and in cold weather let magazines warm up to room temperature rather than heating them.
Wipe the action and outer surfaces with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals, and keep the pistol and magazines away from heat and direct sunlight.
