Description
Desert Eagle .50AE AEP Pistol (Mosfet – Fully/Semi Auto – Cybergun – Metal Slide – 950901)
The Cybergun Desert Eagle .50AE AEP is an electric airsoft pistol modelled on the iconic large-frame Desert Eagle, one of the most recognisable handguns ever made. This version has a metal slide, a MOSFET for crisp trigger response, and a selector for both semi-automatic and fully automatic fire.
Being electric rather than gas-powered, it delivers consistent performance whatever the weather and avoids the ongoing cost of gas. Cybergun hold the licence for the Desert Eagle name, so the styling follows the real pistol’s distinctive shape, making it a favourite with collectors and with players who want a sidearm that stands out.
How it works
An AEP (automatic electric pistol) uses a small battery-powered motor and gearbox, like a scaled-down AEG, to fire each shot. That means no gas to buy and no drop-off in performance on cold days, which is a real advantage in British winters. The slide does not blow back, so the pistol is quiet and very efficient.
The built-in MOSFET handles the electrical switching, giving a sharper trigger response and protecting the trigger contacts from wear. The selector lets you choose between single shots and full-auto fire, which is ideal for close-quarters fights.
Design and handling
The large Desert Eagle frame fills the hand, and the metal slide adds weight and a solid feel where it matters. It is a pistol with real presence, equally at home in a collection, on the skirmish field or as part of a themed loadout.
Set the hop-up to suit your chosen BB weight so your shots fly flat and true, and practise your magazine changes, as full-auto fire empties a magazine quickly.

Compatibility
Spare magazines should be Desert Eagle AEP magazines made for this pistol. Batteries for AEPs are a specific small size and connector type, so check that any replacement battery is designed for this pistol before buying; ask us if you are unsure. Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs, typically 0.20g in an AEP.
Care and maintenance
Remove or disconnect the battery after use and store it separately, somewhere cool and dry, at a sensible charge level. Clean the inner barrel periodically with a cleaning rod and a lightly dampened patch, and use only clean, good quality BBs to avoid jams. Keep the pistol dry and wipe it down after damp games.
Who is it for?
This pistol suits players who want a distinctive, gas-free sidearm that works in all weathers, full-auto fans looking for a CQB pistol, and collectors of Desert Eagle replicas.
Please note: Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules and power limits before play.
