Description
Element Tactical Navigation Flexi-Light – Black
The Element Tactical Navigation Flexi-Light is a small black light listed for navigation use, the kind of compact light used for reading maps, checking a compass or sorting kit in the dark without lighting up the whole area. As the Flexi name suggests, it is listed with a flexible design so you can aim the light where you need it.
Element is a well-known maker of airsoft lights, lasers and replica optics. A navigation light is a handy, low-cost addition to any loadout for night games, long milsim events and early starts, and it is far more discreet than using a full weapon light or a phone torch to read a map.
Using it
Check the product images to see how the Flexi-Light attaches and how it is switched, so you can plan where to put it on your vest, belt or kit. Position it where you can reach the switch without looking, and angle it so the light falls on your map, notebook or pouch rather than into your eyes.
Using a small, dim light keeps your night vision better than a bright torch, and gives your position away far less during a night game.
Around the field
Away from the game itself, a flexible light is useful in the car park, in a tent and in the safe zone, when you are changing batteries, filling magazines or looking for that dropped screw.
