Fitting
Changing a handguard on an M4-pattern replica usually means removing the existing handguard and, depending on the design, the barrel nut, and fitting the new rail’s own nut or mounting system. AEG, gas blowback and HPA M4s differ, and so do makers, so check the product images and any instructions supplied for the mounting system, and compare it with your replica before ordering.
If you are not confident working on your replica, have the rail fitted by an experienced technician. Before you play, check that the rail is tight, that the outer barrel and any muzzle device are aligned, and that nothing rubs on the inner barrel or hop-up.
