Description
EMG F1 Firearms SBR AEG Rifle with RS-3 Stock (Silver Edge Gearbox, eSE Electronic Trigger, Red, eSBR-RR-3)
The EMG F1 Firearms SBR is a licensed airsoft replica of an F1 Firearms short-barrelled AR-pattern rifle. This version, code eSBR-RR-3, is finished in red and fitted with an RS-3 stock, a Silver Edge gearbox and an eSE electronic trigger, so it combines a compact layout with modern trigger electronics.
F1 Firearms is an American company known for its bold, heavily machined and skeletonised AR designs, and EMG’s licensing brings that look to airsoft with the correct trademarks. The red finish makes this one of the most striking rifles you can take to a game or put in a collection. It suits players who want something that stands out, without giving up the practicality of a compact AR.
Build and design
SBR stands for short-barrelled rifle, so this is a compact carbine that is easy to carry and quick to bring round corners in buildings and tight woodland. It keeps the familiar AR layout, so the magazine release, selector and charging handle are where most players expect them. The RS-3 stock gives a firm shoulder for steady aiming.
F1 Firearms designs are recognisable for their sculpted, cut-out shapes. Please check the product photos for the handguard, rails and exact shade of red on this version.
Electronics and performance
The Silver Edge gearbox is paired with an eSE electronic trigger. Instead of relying on metal contacts closing inside the gearbox, an electronic trigger senses the trigger and switches the motor through electronics. That gives a crisp, consistent trigger feel and protects the internals from the wear and arcing that mechanical contacts suffer.
The rifle fires on semi and full auto from M4-pattern AEG magazines, and the hop-up can be adjusted to suit the BB weight you prefer. We also stock the blue version of this rifle (eSBR-BLS-3) and other EMG F1 Firearms models such as the BDR-15 3G.
Getting started
Charge a suitable battery fully before first use, fit and connect it as the manual describes, and load a magazine. Start with the hop-up turned off, fire a few shots at a safe target and add hop a little at a time until the BBs fly flat without rising at the end. Have the rifle chronographed at your site before play, and make a note of the hop setting that works with your usual BBs.

Electronic triggers work best with a well-charged battery. Check the battery space and connector, or ask us, before buying a battery. When buying internal upgrade parts, check they are listed as compatible with the Silver Edge gearbox.
Care and maintenance
Disconnect and remove the battery after every game, and never store the rifle with the battery plugged in. Charge batteries with a suitable charger, never leave them charging unattended, and store them at a sensible storage charge somewhere cool and dry.
Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as poor or damaged BBs are the main cause of jams and hop-up wear. Clean the inner barrel regularly with a cleaning rod and a soft cloth, wipe the outside down after wet or muddy games, and keep the rifle somewhere dry between games.
Who is it for?
Players who want a compact, licensed AR with an electronic trigger and a bold red finish, and collectors of F1 Firearms designs.
Please note: A battery and charger are not named in this listing, so please check with us before ordering. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and have the replica chronographed at your site before play.
