EMG F1 Firearms UDR Demolition Ranch AR15 AEG Rifle (UDR)
This is the EMG x F1 Firearms UDR-15, an officially licensed AR-15 style electric rifle produced in collaboration with F1 Firearms and the Demolition Ranch YouTube channel. It replicates F1’s distinctive skeletonised UDR-15 rifle, with large cut-outs through the receivers, and is aimed at players who want a rifle that looks like nothing else on the field while still being easy to maintain.
EMG specialises in licensed replicas of modern American firearms, and the UDR-15 is one of its signature models. Beneath the eye-catching exterior is a tuned Version 2 gearbox designed for smooth, efficient running, so it is as practical as it is striking.
Build and finish
A US retailer describes the receiver as CNC-machined aluminium alloy with F1’s skeletonised UDR-15 3G pattern, paired with a CNC-machined aluminium H7M handguard of about 14.3 inches, M-LOK slots and a full-length top rail for 20mm accessories. The version that retailer lists has a Demolition Ranch water-transfer camo finish with F1 and Demolition Ranch markings; please check our product images for the exact finish of this item.
A licensed F1 Dragon Slayer muzzle device is fitted to the 16 inch outer barrel. The overall length is listed at about 960mm and the weight at around 5.75lb (roughly 2.6kg), so despite its length it is a light rifle to carry.
Performance and internals
Inside is EMG’s full metal Version 2 ‘Ultra Smooth’ gearbox, with polished, tuned internals intended to reduce friction, wear and current draw. A quick-change spring system lets you swap the main spring without opening the gearbox, which is handy if you play at sites with different power limits.
The rifle also has electric blowback, which can be disabled so the gearbox runs as a conventional Version 2. A long, high-torque motor drives it, the inner barrel is about 407mm long, and the hop-up is adjustable. The internals are stated to be compatible with standard Version 2 parts.
Handling
Fire controls are ambidextrous, with safe, semi and full auto. The long M-LOK handguard gives plenty of room for a forward grip, light or laser, and the full-length top rail suits anything from a red dot to a magnified optic. The rifle is designed for an 11.1V buffer-type LiPo, wired to the stock with a Deans connector.
Getting started
Before your first game, charge your battery fully on a suitable charger, fit it and check the rifle fires on safe, semi and auto as expected. Set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB holds a straight, flat line, and then check where it lands at the distances you usually shoot.
Your site will chronograph the rifle before play. Spend a few minutes learning how to change the battery and clear a jam so you are not doing it for the first time mid-game.

Compatibility
The UDR-15 is listed as compatible with Tokyo Marui and other compatible M4/M16-series AEG magazines. The gearbox internals are standard Version 2 compatible, the M-LOK handguard takes M-LOK accessories, and the 14mm negative thread suits most airsoft suppressors and tracer units.
Choose an 11.1V buffer-tube LiPo with a Deans connector that fits the stock tube; ask us if you are unsure which size to pick.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it away from the rifle, and charge LiPo batteries only on a proper balance charger under supervision. Clean the inner barrel with a cleaning rod and a dry cloth patch every few games, as dirt and broken BB fragments are the main causes of flyers. Stick to good quality seamless BBs of a consistent weight.
Check screws, the flash hider and any mounts before each game day, and store the rifle somewhere dry. Leave the hop-up at a light setting in storage, and if the rifle has an electronic trigger unit, a fully charged battery helps it read the trigger cleanly.
