Description
EMG x SAI 1911 Standard Gas Blowback Pistol (Double Bell 705)
This is the full-size standard version of the EMG x SAI 1911, a green gas blowback pistol with Salient Arms International styling. Salient Arms International markings are applied under licence from EMG, and the pistol is built by Double Bell. It is based on the classic single-action 1911 and uses an internal layout modelled on the Tokyo Marui 1911 gas system, which gives it wide parts compatibility.
Build and performance
The slide and frame are metal, with polymer used for some smaller parts, and the slide carries SAI-style lightening cuts. It runs on green gas and the slide cycles with every shot for a realistic recoil feel. An adjustable hop-up lets you set the right amount of backspin for your BBs, while the light, carefully shaped trigger and hammer keep the single-action pull crisp. Sport sights and a distinctive outer barrel finish complete the competition look.

Good to know
Use a quality green gas and good 0.20g or heavier BBs, and let the magazine warm up on cold days for steadier performance. Occasional silicone oil on the magazine seals will help keep it gas-tight. As a realistic imitation firearm (RIF), it can only be bought in the UK with a valid defence such as UKARA, and buyers must be 18 or over. Always wear eye protection and check your site’s power limits before you play.
