Description
FMA DBAL-PL with LED (White Light) and Laser (IR Function) (Plastic version) (AT-1002)
This is FMA’s DBAL-PL style light and laser unit, the plastic version with FMA code AT-1002. As the name says, it combines an LED white light with a laser that includes an IR function. FMA is a long-established maker of tactical accessories for airsoft, and its DBAL-PL replicas are a popular way to add a light and laser to a pistol in one compact unit.
The real DBAL-PL is a compact light and laser unit designed to sit on the accessory rail under a pistol’s barrel. Combining a torch and an aiming laser in one housing keeps the pistol tidy and means you only have one unit to mount and operate. FMA also makes a metal version of this unit; this plastic version is the lighter, more affordable choice.
White light and laser
The LED white light is the feature you will use most in airsoft. In night games and dark CQB buildings, short bursts of light let you check rooms and corridors and identify targets before you shoot.
The IR function is mainly of interest to players who use night-vision equipment, since infrared is invisible to the naked eye. Never point a laser at anyone’s face or eyes, even on an airsoft site, and follow your site’s rules on lasers. Many sites restrict or ban visible lasers in play, so check before you bring one.
Mounting
Check the product images for the mount and the switch layout. Fit the unit to your pistol’s accessory rail and tighten the mount firmly, then check it does not interfere with your grip or holster.

Care and maintenance
