FMA FBUS Gen 1 (Black) (TB-26)
The FMA FBUS Gen 1 (TB-26) is a black back-up sight from FMA’s FBUS range. FBUS is FMA’s line of back-up iron sights for railed replicas, and Gen 1 is the earlier version of the design, ahead of the later Gen 2.
If you run a red dot or scope, a set of folding back-up sights means a flat battery, a fogged lens or a damaged optic does not have to end your game. Folded flat, back-up sights stay out of your optic’s view until you need them. In black, this version suits black rails, rifles and optics.
Using back-up sights
Mount the sights on your top rail, with the rear sight towards the back of the receiver and the front sight as far forward as your handguard allows, which gives a longer sight radius and more precise aiming. Make sure they fold flat under or around your optic without touching it.
Practise flipping them up and acquiring a sight picture at home, so it is second nature if your optic fails mid-game. Then zero them at a safe backstop so they are ready when you need them.
