Description
GHK G5 Magazine Valve
This is a replacement magazine valve for the GHK G5 gas blowback rifle. GHK’s G5 is an M4-style GBB rifle, and like all gas blowback magazines, its magazines rely on good valves and seals to hold gas and deliver it consistently.
Magazine valves can wear, collect grit or be damaged, leading to leaks, poor filling or inconsistent cycling. Replacing a faulty valve is far cheaper than buying a new magazine, and a spare valve is a useful thing to have on hand for any GBB rifle owner.
Signs of a faulty valve
Symptoms include gas hissing from the magazine after filling, a magazine that empties overnight, gas spraying back during filling, or weak and inconsistent cycling. Before replacing a valve, try a drop of silicone oil and a slow, steady fill, as dried-out seals can cause similar symptoms.
Fitting
Empty the magazine of BBs and release all gas before removing any valve. Use the correct valve key, taking care not to damage the threads or the seat. Add a drop of silicone oil to the new valve’s O-ring and tighten firmly without forcing it. Test with a short fill and listen for leaks.

Compatibility
Listed for GHK G5 magazines. The listing does not say whether this is the fill valve or the release (outlet) valve, so check which valve you need and compare it with your existing part, or ask us, before ordering.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve before each fill, fill slowly with the can upright and do not overfill. Store magazines with a little gas in them to keep the seals in shape. Keep magazines clean and dry, and use only the gas type recommended for your rifle.
Who is it for?
For GHK G5 owners with a magazine that leaks or will not fill properly.
Please note: A valve key is not listed as included. Always release all gas before working on a magazine.
