This is a Guarder thread adapter, part code AD-01, that converts a 14mm anti-clockwise thread to a 14mm clockwise thread. Airsoft muzzles and accessories use two thread directions, and it is common to find that a silencer, tracer or flash hider you want to use is threaded the opposite way to your replica. An adapter like this solves the problem without changing either part.

Thread directions explained
Most AEGs and many gas rifles use a 14mm anti-clockwise (also called negative or CCW) thread, which tightens by turning anti-clockwise. Some replicas, especially those modelled on certain real-steel designs, use a 14mm clockwise (positive or CW) thread instead. Accessories are made in both directions, so an adapter lets you mix and match.
Fitting
Check which side of the adapter goes on your replica and which side takes the accessory, as described by its name: one side is anti-clockwise and the other clockwise. Screw it on by hand, avoid cross-threading, and make sure the accessory is straight so BBs pass through cleanly. A little thread tape can help stop the adapter working loose.
