Description
Hakkotsu Thunder B Sonic Grenade Complete Set (Flash Bang – TB-12C)
This is a complete Thunder B sonic grenade set from Hakkotsu in the flash bang style, code TB-12C. The flash bang look matches the stun grenades used by modern police and special forces teams, making it a natural choice for CQB players and modern loadouts.
A complete set is the easiest way to start using Thunder B, because you get the parts you need in one purchase instead of buying a fuze and shells separately. Sound grenades add realism and tactics to a game, and Thunder B is one of the most widely used systems in airsoft and paintball, so replacement shells and parts are easy to come by.
How the Thunder B system works
Thunder B is Hakkotsu’s CO2-powered sound grenade. According to retailer listings, the firing mechanism screws onto the top of a shell and holds a 12g CO2 capsule, a firing pin and a spoon that is kept in place by a pin. When the pin is pulled and the grenade is thrown, the spoon releases the firing pin, which pierces the capsule. Gas then builds up inside the shell until it bursts with a very loud bang.
Because it runs on CO2 rather than a pyrotechnic filling, the bang comes from gas pressure alone. Retailers describe the delay as variable, usually a few seconds, so do not rely on an exact fuse time. The CO2 capsule is used up with each throw, and the shell breaks apart, while the metal firing parts are made to be used again.
Using it in a game
Sound grenades are most useful in CQB and objective games. Under many site rules, a bang in an enclosed room counts as clearing it, which makes a grenade a powerful tool for building assaults. Agree a plan with your team, call the grenade if your site requires it, and move in straight after the bang while the defenders are still reacting.
Our listing does not give the exact number of shells or parts in this set. Please check the product images to see what is supplied before planning your game.
Safety
Retailers rate Thunder B at over 130 dB, so hearing protection is strongly recommended for you and anyone nearby, especially indoors. Throw underarm into rooms and positions rather than at players, and follow your site’s rules on grenades. If a grenade fails to go off, wait before approaching it and follow the manual and your marshal’s instructions.

Care and maintenance
Wipe the parts down after use and keep them in a small, dry bag or box with the rest of your Thunder B kit so nothing goes missing. Check for bends, burrs or wear before each game day and replace anything that no longer moves freely.
Never fit or adjust parts on a grenade that has a CO2 capsule installed. Keep capsules cool and out of direct sunlight, and pick up all shell pieces after each use.
