Description
HFC 1911 Tactical Gas Blowback Pistol (HG-171B – Black)
The HFC 1911 Tactical (HG-171B) is a black gas blowback airsoft pistol based on the classic 1911 design, updated with tactical features such as an accessory rail. It combines the familiar 1911 shape with a working slide that kicks back with every shot.
HFC has been making affordable gas pistols for many years, and its HG-171 Tactical 1911 is a long-standing favourite with players who want a capable, budget-friendly sidearm. The black finish is the classic choice and suits any loadout.
Build and features
Retailer listings for the HFC HG-171 Tactical 1911 describe a metal slide on a polymer frame, with non-slip grip panels and an integrated Picatinny accessory rail on the frame for a torch or laser. That combination keeps the weight sensible while giving a solid feel where it matters.
The green gas magazine is listed as holding 27 rounds, which is generous for a 1911-style pistol and means fewer reloads in a game.
How it shoots
The HG-171 is a gas blowback pistol: gas stored in the magazine fires the BB and pushes the slide back to cock the hammer, giving a realistic action and a little recoil with each shot. It fires one shot per trigger pull.
Like all gas pistols, it is happiest in mild weather. Keep magazines warm on cold days and give them a minute to settle after filling.
Getting started
Charge the magazine with gas in short, steady bursts and let it rest briefly before shooting. Test-fire at a safe target and set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB’s flight is straight and level.
Practise reloads at home so they feel natural, and have the replica chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
Uses HFC HG-171 gas magazines. Note that HFC also makes CO2 versions of this pistol, and their magazines are different, so check that spares are listed for the green gas model. The rail takes compact pistol torches and lasers. Holsters for railed 1911 pistols should fit, but check holster fit with any light attached.
Care and maintenance
Keep a little gas in the magazines when you store them and lubricate the seals with silicone oil from time to time. Fill in short bursts until gas just starts to spit back, and keep magazines at room temperature for the best performance.
After use, check the moving parts for dirt and wipe them with a light coat of silicone oil. Clean the inner barrel occasionally, use clean seamless BBs, and keep the replica dry.
Who is it for?
Budget-conscious players who want a full-size 1911-style gas pistol with a rail and a large magazine, and newer players looking for their first gas sidearm.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when using airsoft replicas.
