Description
HFC MK8 Gas Pistol (Non-Blowback – Black – GG-106)
The HFC MK8, model GG-106, is a gas-powered, non-blowback airsoft pistol in black. Non-blowback means the slide stays fixed when you fire, so all of the gas goes into propelling the BB, making the MK8 quiet, economical on gas and very easy to shoot accurately.
HFC is a long-established Taiwanese maker of affordable gas pistols, and its range is a popular first step into gas airsoft for players who want something more realistic than a spring pistol without a big outlay. The MK8 offers a simple, reliable gas pistol in a practical black finish that suits any loadout.
How it works
Gas is filled into the pistol’s magazine, and each pull of the trigger releases a small amount to fire one BB. Because this is a non-blowback design, the slide does not move. All of the gas goes into the shot rather than into cycling the action, which makes the pistol quiet, gives more shots from each fill and keeps the sights perfectly still between shots.
Non-blowback pistols have fewer moving parts, so there is less to wear and less to go wrong, and they are less affected by the cooling that slows blowback pistols during rapid fire. That makes them simple, inexpensive to run and a sensible first step into gas airsoft.
Gas in cold weather
All gas pistols are affected by temperature. On warm days they shoot briskly and consistently; when it is cold, gas pressure drops and shots become weaker. Keep the pistol or a spare magazine in an inside pocket before use, and give the magazine a few seconds between shots during rapid strings so it can recover.
Handling and uses
With no recoil, it is easy to see where each shot lands and correct your aim, which makes the MK8 an excellent pistol for back-garden target practice, plinking and learning safe pistol handling. It is also a sensible budget back-up for skirmish players who are not yet ready to invest in a blowback pistol, and its quiet action suits stealthy play.

Compatibility
Use HFC magazines made for the MK8 (GG-106); please ask us before buying spares. Fires standard 6mm BBs; 0.20g BBs are a good all-round choice.
Fill with gas made for airsoft guns; never use lighter fluid or butane. If you plan to use a holster, check the fit before relying on it.
Care and maintenance
Non-blowback gas pistols have fewer moving parts than blowback models, so they need very little looking after. Wipe the pistol down after use, run a cleaning rod with a clean patch through the inner barrel occasionally, and use only gas designed for airsoft. A drop of silicone oil on the fill valve and outlet seal now and then keeps the magazine seals supple and helps prevent leaks.
Fill the magazine with short, steady bursts and do not overfill. Store it with a little gas inside so the seals stay pressurised, keep the pistol at room temperature, and keep spare magazines warm on cold days as gas pressure drops in low temperatures. Always use good quality seamless 6mm BBs.
Who is it for?
The HFC MK8 suits newcomers to gas airsoft, garden target shooters and players who want an inexpensive, dependable back-up pistol.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included unless stated above. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the power and safety rules at your site before play.
