Description
Huntsman Tactical Cut Off Lever (Compatible with Saigo Defense / Lancer Tactical Range)
The Huntsman Tactical Cut Off Lever is a replacement gearbox part for AEGs in the Saigo Defense and Lancer Tactical ranges. The cut-off lever is a small but important component: in semi-automatic fire it trips the trigger contacts at the end of each cycle, so the gearbox fires one shot and then stops.
A worn, bent or broken cut-off lever can cause problems such as the rifle firing more than once on semi, not resetting properly or locking up. Fitting a fresh lever is a straightforward way to restore reliable semi-automatic operation, and it is a sensible spare to keep in any tech box.
How it works
Inside the gearbox, the cut-off lever sits against the sector gear. As the sector gear turns, it pushes the lever, which in turn lifts the trigger mechanism away from the contacts and cuts power to the motor. On full-auto the selector holds the lever out of the way, so the gearbox keeps cycling for as long as the trigger is held. Because it is struck once on every shot fired, it is one of the parts that sees steady wear over the life of a rifle.
When to replace it
Consider replacing the cut-off lever if your rifle fires short bursts on semi, if the trigger does not reset, or if you find the lever worn or damaged when servicing the gearbox. It is also worth fitting a new one as part of a full rebuild, particularly if you are installing a stronger spring or a higher-speed setup.

Compatibility
This cut-off lever is listed as compatible with the Saigo Defense and Lancer Tactical range of AEGs. Gearbox designs vary between models and generations, so please compare the part with your existing lever, or check with us, before ordering. Fitting requires the gearbox to be opened; if you are not confident working on a gearbox, have it fitted by an experienced airsoft technician.
Care and maintenance
When fitting, check the sector gear and trigger assembly for wear at the same time, and make sure the lever moves freely without binding. A light smear of suitable gearbox grease at the pivot point helps it move smoothly.
Keep spare parts in a sealed bag in a dry place until they are needed. After reassembling the gearbox, test the rifle on semi and full-auto with no magazine fitted before using it in a game.
Who is it for?
This part is for players and technicians maintaining or rebuilding Saigo Defense or Lancer Tactical AEGs, and for anyone who wants a spare cut-off lever on hand.
