The JG 1010 is an AK74-S style electric rifle (AEG) with electric blowback, a metal body, real wood furniture and a folding stock, and it is supplied with a battery and charger. The AK74-S is the folding-stock version of the AK74, which makes it shorter to carry and store.
JG (Jing Gong) is one of the best-known makers of affordable AEGs, and its AK range is popular with players who want a traditional wood-and-metal look without a high price. How electric blowback works
On a blowback AEG, the gearbox also drives a moving part each time it fires, giving a mild recoil effect and a mechanical sound that makes the rifle feel livelier than a standard AEG. It does not change how the BB is fired, but it adds to the fun and realism of shooting. The trade-off is a little extra load on the battery, so keep your battery well charged.
Build and handling
The metal receiver and real wood furniture give the 1010 the weight and feel of a traditional AK. The folding stock lets you shorten the rifle for vehicles and storage, or for tight spaces, and folds out for a stable shoulder when you need to aim. Compatibility
AK-pattern AEG magazines are widely available, but fit can vary slightly between makers, so test any spare magazine in your rifle before relying on it in a game. Spare batteries must match the connector and fit the battery space of the supplied battery; check the battery’s size and plug before ordering another. Care and maintenance
Disconnect and remove the battery after every game, and never store the rifle with the battery plugged in. Charge batteries with a suitable charger, never leave them charging unattended, and store them at a sensible storage charge somewhere cool and dry.
Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as poor or damaged BBs are the main cause of jams and hop-up wear. Clean the inner barrel regularly with a cleaning rod and a soft cloth, wipe the outside down after wet or muddy games, and keep the rifle somewhere dry between games.
