Description
Lancer Tactical M4 LT-25 Interceptor AEG Rifle (Tan)
The Lancer Tactical LT-25 Interceptor is an SPR-style M4 in tan, with a long, slim handguard. The longer profile suits players who like to engage from further back and want a rifle that feels steady when aiming.
Lancer Tactical have built a strong reputation for good value, dependable AEGs, and their Gen 2 rifles are a popular first serious rifle for new players as well as a sensible base for experienced players who like to upgrade. This version comes with a battery and smart charger, so you have what you need to get started.
Build and materials
Lancer Tactical’s Gen 2 rifles use a nylon reinforced polymer body. It keeps the weight down and copes well with knocks, rain and mud, while key controls such as the fire selector, magazine catch and charging handle are metal. The tan finish is consistent across the furniture and gives the rifle a distinctive look on the field.
The design follows the familiar M4 layout throughout, so anyone who has handled an AR-style rifle will feel at home straight away, and new players will find it easy to learn.
Performance and internals
At the heart of the rifle is a standard Version 2 gearbox, the most common AEG gearbox design. That makes spare and upgrade parts easy to find and simple to fit when you want to improve performance later. Lancer Tactical fit 8mm bearings, an upgraded motor and low-resistance wiring to help it cycle efficiently and respond quickly to the trigger.
A quick-change spring system lets you swap the main spring without opening the gearbox, which is useful if you play at sites with different power limits or want to set the rifle up differently for CQB and woodland. A 6.03mm tight bore inner barrel and rotary dial hop-up help with consistency and range; adjust the hop-up to suit the BB weight you are using until BBs fly flat rather than rising or dropping.
Handling and ergonomics
The long, slim handguard gives plenty of room for your support hand and for mounting a bipod, torch or grip, and the extra length makes the rifle feel steady when you take careful aimed shots. The familiar M4-style stock is comfortable to shoulder whether you are wearing a T-shirt or a plate carrier. Pair it with a magnified optic for a designated marksman role.
Sling points make it easy to carry all day, and the standard M4 controls mean reloading and switching between safe, semi and full auto quickly becomes second nature.

Compatibility
As an M4-pattern AEG it accepts most standard M4 AEG magazines, so you can choose between mid-capacity magazines, which are quiet and do not rattle, and high-capacity magazines for more rounds between reloads. Its Version 2 gearbox takes standard V2 parts, and the rails accept the wide range of optics, lights and grips made for M4 rifles. When buying internal upgrades, check that parts are listed as suitable for Version 2 M4 gearboxes, and before buying a spare battery, check the connector and size against the one supplied.
Care and maintenance
Disconnect and remove the battery after every game, and never store the rifle with the battery plugged in. Charge batteries with a suitable smart charger and store them at a sensible storage charge in a cool, dry place. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as cheap or damaged BBs are the main cause of jams and hop-up wear.
Clean the inner barrel regularly with a cleaning rod and a lightly dampened cloth to keep accuracy consistent, and wipe the outside down after wet or muddy games. Fire a few shots on semi to unload the spring before putting it away, and keep magazines clean and free of grit.
Who is it for?
The LT-25 Interceptor suits woodland and outdoor players who prefer a longer rifle, and anyone looking for a ready-to-play base for a DMR-style build.
Please note: Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the power limits at your site before play.
