Magnatrak PVA Mesh Refill – Medium 25mm
This Magnatrak PVA mesh refill gives you 5m of anti-ladder micro mesh in the medium 25mm width, ready to load onto your PVA dispenser tube. Fill it with pellets, boilie crumb, chopped baits or stick mix to create compact PVA sticks and bags that put a tight parcel of feed right next to your hookbait.
The mesh is described as fast melting, extra strong and of superior quality: exactly what you want from PVA. It needs to hold together in the air and survive the cast, then break down quickly once it is in the water so your feed is released around the rig.
Why anti-ladder mesh?
Cheaper PVA mesh can run or ladder when it is cut or tied, like a pair of tights, which leaves you with loose bait spilling out of the end. Anti-ladder mesh holds its weave when cut, so you can tie off a neat stick, trim it close and know it will stay together. The fine micro weave also holds smaller particles such as crumb and micro pellets, reducing waste.
Making PVA sticks and bags
Tie a knot in the end of the mesh on your tube, fill it with your mix and compress it with the plunger. Push the stick off the tube, twist and tie or simply cut it at the length you want, then thread it onto your hooklink or nick it onto the hook. The 25mm medium size is a versatile middle ground: big enough for a decent amount of feed but not so bulky that it ruins your casting.

Compatibility

Care and storage
PVA reacts to moisture, so keep the mesh sealed in an airtight container or bag when not in use and store it somewhere dry. Load your sticks with dry hands and keep them away from damp grass, landing nets and wet bait. Do not leave spare mesh in a bivvy overnight, as condensation can make it sticky.
