Description
Maple Leaf Crazy Jet Pistol Inner Barrel – 84mm
The Maple Leaf Crazy Jet is an upgrade inner barrel for airsoft pistols, here in an 84mm length. Maple Leaf are well known for their inner barrels and hop-up rubbers, and the Crazy Jet is one of their most distinctive designs. It is made from brass alloy and is intended to give better accuracy than a typical stock barrel.
The Crazy Jet’s unusual design is built to create a cushion of air around the BB as it travels out of the barrel. The idea is to reduce the BB’s contact with the barrel walls and help it leave the muzzle in a straighter, more consistent way, which can show up as tighter groups and more predictable flight.
Why upgrade the inner barrel?
Stock pistol barrels vary a lot in quality. Small imperfections in the bore, rough finishing or a poor fit with the hop-up can all affect consistency. A well-made aftermarket barrel removes one of those variables. Pistols are often used at shorter ranges, but a consistent barrel still makes a difference when you are taking quick shots at an opponent peeking round cover.
Pairing with a bucking
Maple Leaf produce Hot Shot hop-up rubbers designed to match their Crazy Jet barrels, and many players fit a new bucking at the same time as the barrel. Because you will have the hop unit apart anyway, it is the ideal moment to replace a worn rubber and get the best from the new barrel.

The 84mm Crazy Jet is intended for Tokyo Marui-pattern gas blowback pistols that use an 84mm inner barrel. Barrel length and hop-up design vary between pistol models and brands, so always measure your existing barrel and check your pistol’s model before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your pistol make and model.
Care and maintenance
Clean the bore regularly with a cleaning rod and a dry or lightly dampened cloth patch, pushing it through from the hop-up end where possible. Avoid oil in the barrel, as it attracts dirt and affects the hop. Use good-quality seamless BBs to protect the bore and the hop rubber. When fitting, take care not to damage the barrel window or the bucking.
Who is it for?
Pistol players and techs who want to improve accuracy and consistency, and anyone rebuilding a pistol hop-up with Maple Leaf parts.
