The Secutor Rudis V is a custom-styled 1911 pistol with a black slide and tan frame finish. It is part of Secutor’s Rudis series, a line of 1911-pattern pistols that take the classic design and give each model its own custom look, so you get a sidearm that stands out in the holster and on the field.

CO2 power, gas ready
The Rudis V is CO2 powered, which gives strong, consistent performance and copes better with cooler weather than standard green gas. It is also described as gas ready: the pistol is designed to run on a compatible gas magazine too (sold separately), so you can choose the power source that suits the season, your site and your budget.
The Rudis series pistols are gas blowback designs, so the slide cycles with each shot for realistic recoil and a satisfying shooting experience.
Choosing CO2 or gas
CO2 gives a sharper, more powerful kick and copes well with cold weather, which makes it a good choice for winter games and outdoor sites. Green gas is generally gentler on the pistol and cheaper per shot, and many players prefer it in warmer weather or for CQB. Being able to run both means you can choose CO2 or gas to suit the conditions and your site’s rules on the day. Always check your site’s power limits with the power source you intend to use.
The 1911 layout
The 1911 is loved for its slim grip, straight-back trigger pull and simple, positive controls. Compatibility
Runs on 12g CO2 capsules in the CO2 magazine. For gas use, choose a gas magazine listed as compatible with Secutor Rudis 1911 pistols; please contact us if you would like help choosing one. Uses standard 6mm BBs. As a 1911-pattern pistol it will suit many 1911-compatible holsters, but check fit for custom-shaped models before buying.
Care and maintenance
Remove the CO2 capsule after each session rather than leaving the magazine pressurised, which helps the seals last much longer. Put a drop of silicone oil on the tip of each new capsule before fitting it to keep the seals lubricated. Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs and clean the inner barrel periodically with a cleaning rod and soft cloth. Wipe the outside of the pistol with a lightly oiled cloth and store it unloaded in a cool, dry place.
