Snow Wolf M3A1 Grease SMG AEG (Grey/Green, SW-06-01)
The Snow Wolf M3A1 is an electric airsoft sub-machine gun styled on the M3A1 Grease Gun, the simple, rugged SMG used by Allied forces from the Second World War onwards. This version comes in a grey/green finish under the code SW-06-01, and it is a favourite with players at WW2 and historical events.
Snow Wolf is known for good-value replicas of classic and unusual firearms, and its M3A1 is one of the most popular WW2 SMGs in airsoft. Its stubby shape, sliding wire stock and distinctive dust-cover safety make it a characterful choice for re-enactment, period games or simply something different at a skirmish.
Compatibility
Use magazines made for Snow Wolf’s M3A1; Patrol Base also lists 520-round high-capacity and 130-round mid-capacity spares for the SW-06. Ask us to confirm fit before ordering.
Choose a short 7.4V LiPo stick that fits the grip compartment, as listed. Patrol Base suggests 0.25g BBs.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
Wipe the steel parts over with a lightly oiled cloth after damp games to keep rust at bay, and store the gun somewhere dry.
