The Specna Arms SA-H11 ONE is an M4-pattern carbine AEG in black from Specna Arms’ ONE series. Like the rest of the series, the SA-H11 is made largely from a uniform zinc and aluminium alloy, with steel elements reinforcing the parts that take the most stress, so it feels rigid and robust in the hand.
Build and materials
The aluminium free-float rail system gives the front end a clean, modern look and plenty of space for accessories, and it is compatible with RIS-type accessories for torches, lasers, grips and bipods. The top rail runs along the receiver and handguard for optics. An adjustable stock with a rubber butt pad lets you set the length of pull for your build and kit, and keeps the rifle planted in the shoulder.
Performance and internals
Inside is a Version 2 gearbox, the most common AEG gearbox design, so spare and upgrade parts are easy to find. It is fitted with Specna’s Enter & Convert quick spring change system at the rear, which makes changing the main spring much simpler than on a standard V2; the gearbox still has to come out of the body, but it does not need to be opened. Both M120 and M90 class springs are provided, so you can set the rifle up for different site limits or for CQB.
The 290mm inner barrel and adjustable hop-up give good accuracy and range for an M4 carbine. Set the hop-up for the BB weight you use so that BBs fly flat, then leave it alone and let consistency do the work.
Battery and handling
The battery is housed inside the buffer tube. Space there is tight, so a slim stick-type LiPo is the battery to choose. The carbine length, at 715 to 800mm depending on stock position, keeps it handy in buildings and comfortable to carry on longer woodland games.

Compatibility
Accepts standard M4/M16 AEG magazines, including mid-caps and hi-caps from most major brands. Internals follow the Version 2 standard, so most V2 upgrade parts will fit. The rail system takes standard 20mm accessories and optics. Choose a slim stick LiPo that fits the buffer tube and check its connector against the rifle’s before buying.
Care and maintenance
Disconnect and remove the battery after every game and store LiPo batteries in a fire-safe bag at storage charge. Clean the inner barrel periodically with a cleaning rod and a dry patch, and use good quality seamless 6mm BBs to protect the barrel and hop-up rubber. Wipe the body down after wet or muddy games and let it dry before storing. Leave the gearbox alone unless you are confident working on AEGs; when you swap springs, use the quick-change system rather than stripping the gearbox.
