Description
S&T M1887 Gas Shell Ejecting Shot Gun (Real Wood – STGS07S)
The S&T M1887 is a gas-powered, lever-action airsoft shotgun with real wood furniture and shell ejection, S&T code STGS07S. It is modelled on the 1887 lever-action shotgun, a design made famous on the big screen, and it is one of the most theatrical replicas you can take onto an airsoft field.
S&T offers a wide range of replicas at competitive prices, and its M1887 recreates the look and feel of a classic lever-action shotgun. Working the lever ejects the spent shell from the action, so every shot feels like a real lever gun. For western, film-inspired or post-apocalyptic loadouts it is a stand-out choice.
How it works
The M1887 is loaded with shells and operated by working the lever: the lever action ejects the spent shell and chambers the next, and pulling the trigger fires using gas. Shell ejection adds a lot to the experience, though it does mean you need to pick up your shells after a game.
Being gas powered, it needs no battery, but like all gas replicas its performance drops in cold weather, so it is at its best in mild conditions.
Build and style
Real wood furniture gives the M1887 the warm, traditional appearance of a nineteenth-century shotgun, and each piece of wood has its own grain. This is the STGS07S version; S&T offers the M1887 in different lengths, so please check the product images for this model’s barrel and stock configuration.
Spinning or flicking the lever is part of the M1887’s appeal, but always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and follow your site’s handling rules.
Getting started
Read the manual first so you know how to load the shells, charge the gas and operate the safety. Fill with the gas recommended in the manual, load the shells and test-fire at a safe backstop before your first game.
Practise working the lever and reloading shells at home, and have the shotgun chronographed at your site before play.

Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the gas fill valve occasionally and store the shotgun with a little gas in it so the seals stay supple. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals, and do not overfill.
Keep the real wood dry, wiping it after wet games and treating it occasionally with a suitable wood oil or wax. Collect and check your shells after each game, and clean the inner barrel now and then with a rod and patch.
Who is it for?
The S&T M1887 suits players who want a characterful, film-style lever-action shotgun with real wood and shell ejection, as well as collectors of classic designs.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules and power limits for shotguns before play.
