The TAGinn Velum MK2 is a launchable white smoke projectile from Tag Innovations, supplied in a pack of 10 in the KC (Kick Charge) version. Fired from a TAGinn launcher, it lets you put smoke exactly where you need it at range: to mark a position, signal your team, screen a move or hide an objective. White smoke gives a dense, natural-looking screen that suits concealment and realistic scenarios.
Tag Innovations, usually known as TAGinn, is a specialist in airsoft pyrotechnics and launchers. The MK2 is an improved version of the original Velum, producing considerably more smoke. Launching smoke rather than throwing it means you can lay a screen far beyond throwing distance, without exposing yourself.
Using smoke in a game
Smoke changes the way a game plays. Use it to cover a team crossing open ground, block a sniper’s line of sight, or mark a landing zone, extraction point or objective for your squad. Before launching, look at the wind: smoke drifts, so aim slightly upwind of where you want the screen to sit. Remember that it blocks your view as much as your opponent’s.

Compatibility
Designed for TAGinn launching devices, such as the TAG-ML36. KC (Kick Charge) projectiles are made for TAGinn’s KC-compatible launchers, so check that your launcher accepts this type before ordering. Not intended for use with other makes of 40mm launcher unless TAGinn states they are compatible.
Care and maintenance
Store projectiles in their packaging in a cool, dry place, away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and out of reach of children. Do not use any projectile that is damaged, damp or has been dropped onto a hard surface hard enough to deform it. Carry them in a pouch that protects them from knocks, and keep your launcher clean and dry so they load and fire consistently. Dispose of used and failed items in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and your site’s rules.
