Description
Umarex T4E HDR 50 .50 Paintball Marker Revolver (Black – 2.4758)
The Umarex T4E HDR 50 is a CO2-powered, .50 calibre revolver-style marker in black from Umarex’s T4E (Training for Engagement) range. It fires .50 calibre balls and is used for training, low-impact paintball-style games and recreational shooting.
Umarex is one of the largest names in CO2-powered sporting arms, and the T4E range is designed specifically for scenario training and recreational use. The HDR 50 combines a familiar revolver layout with practical modern features, making it simple to load, quick to learn and easy to live with.
How it works
The HDR 50 is powered by CO2 and fires .50 calibre (about 12.7mm) balls from a removable six-shot cylinder. Loading is simple: fill the cylinder, refit it and you are ready to go. Keeping a spare loaded cylinder or two on hand makes reloading very quick.
Because it is a revolver, there is no magazine to manage and no slide to cycle, which makes it reliable and straightforward to operate.
Getting the best from it
CO2 pressure falls in cold weather, so expect fewer, slightly softer shots on a winter day; keep spare capsules at room temperature until needed and shoot at a steady pace. Check every ball before loading and discard any that are cracked, dented or misshapen, as they are more likely to break in the barrel and affect accuracy.
Practise quick cylinder changes before a game, and carry loaded cylinders in a pouch where they will not be crushed. A simple red dot sight on the top rail makes fast, accurate shooting much easier for most users.
Design and handling
The body is almost entirely plastic, keeping the weight down and making it robust enough for regular use. Two Picatinny rails, one on top of the frame and one under the barrel, let you mount a red dot sight, a torch or a laser to suit the way you use it.

Compatibility
Use .50 calibre ammunition designed for this type of marker, such as .50 calibre paintballs or rubber balls, and only the CO2 capsules specified for the HDR 50. Spare cylinders should be the ones made for the HDR 50. The Picatinny rails accept standard rail-mount sights, torches and lasers.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the tip of each new CO2 capsule before fitting to help keep the seals in good condition, and remove the capsule when you have finished shooting. Clean the barrel after use, particularly after firing paintballs, as broken shells can leave residue. Store the marker and ammunition somewhere cool and dry, away from frost and direct sunlight.
Who is it for?
The HDR 50 suits players and groups looking for a simple, robust .50 calibre marker for low-impact games, training scenarios and recreational shooting.
Please note: CO2 and ammunition are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using this marker.
