Vorsk CS Defender Pro MEU – Black/Silver BDS
The Vorsk CS Defender Pro MEU is a Custom Shop 1911 MEU-style gas blowback pistol in black and silver, supplied with the BDS compact red dot sight. It pairs the classic single-stack lines of the MEU with custom touches and a modern optic, making it a pistol that is as good to look at as it is to shoot.
The MEU pattern is one of the most famous 1911 variants, and Vorsk’s Custom Shop (CS) range is its premium line. The Defender Pro adds split wood and polymer grips and a beavertail grip safety, with a CO2 conversion kit in the box so you can choose how you want to run it.
Build and materials
The Defender Pro is built mainly from metal alloy, giving it a solid weight and balance. The split wood and polymer grips are a distinctive feature, combining the warmth of wood with the grip of polymer. The frame is clean and non-railed for a traditional MEU look, and the black and silver finish suits it well.
Performance
As a gas blowback pistol, the Defender Pro uses gas from the magazine to fire each BB and cycle the slide, giving crisp, realistic recoil. It fires in semi-automatic and has a functioning beavertail grip safety and slide lock. It runs on Vorsk V6, V8 or V12 GBB fuel, and the included CO2 conversion kit (nozzle and spring) allows it to use Vorsk CO2 magazines for a punchier feel or better performance in cold weather.
Sights and optic
The supplied Vorsk BDS compact red dot lets you aim with both eyes open simply by placing the dot on the target, which is faster than lining up iron sights. It takes a CR2032 cell and is small enough to keep the pistol balanced.
Handling
The MEU’s slim single-stack grip suits a wide range of hand sizes, and the 1911’s straight-back trigger and natural pointing make it easy to shoot well. The beavertail grip safety means the pistol only fires when held properly, just like the real design. With the red dot mounted, you can keep your focus on the target, which helps when moving between cover or shooting from awkward positions. Zero the dot at your usual engagement distance using the BB weight you normally shoot.

Compatibility
Uses Vorsk 1911/MEU-pattern magazines: 21 round standard and 36 round extended versions are available, in gas and CO2. Check the model before buying spares. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs. With the BDS fitted, choose a holster that allows for a pistol optic.
Care and maintenance
Oil the magazine valves and seals with silicone oil every few fills, avoid overfilling and store magazines with a little gas in them. Keep the slide rails lightly lubricated and clean the inner barrel from time to time. Wipe the wooden grip panels with a dry cloth and keep them away from solvents. Remove the BDS cell for long-term storage.
