Vorsk VP26X – Brushed ALU (VGP-04-05)
The Vorsk VP26X Brushed ALU is a full metal gas blowback pistol based on the P226, the full-size double-stack service pistol that has been carried by military and police units around the world. This version has a brushed aluminium-look finish that gives it a clean, premium appearance quite different from standard black sidearms.
Vorsk is Nuprol’s gas pistol brand, and the VP26X brings the classic P226 shape up to date with a vented slide, a frame-mounted rail extension and a set of practical accessories in the box. It is heavy, solid and shoots with a strong kick, which makes it a dependable skirmish sidearm as well as a good-looking addition to a collection.
Build and materials
The VP26X has a full metal body and slide with a moulded, stippled polymer grip for a secure hold. The reduced-weight slide has forward vent ports, and a frame-mounted Breacher piece extends the front of the pistol and carries a full-length 20mm rail up to the muzzle, giving plenty of room for a pistol torch or laser.
A decocking lever and an extended protective magazine baseplate complete the package. The brushed finish shows off the shape of the pistol and its machining, and looks particularly good alongside wood or black accessories.
Performance and handling
Gas from the magazine fires each BB and drives the slide back, giving a noticeable recoil that makes shooting the VP26X genuinely enjoyable. The metal magazine holds 21 rounds. A CO2 spring is supplied for players who want to set the pistol up for CO2 magazines, and the supplied 12mm clockwise to 14mm counter-clockwise thread adaptor lets you fit a suppressor or tracer unit.
The full-size grip and familiar P226 grip angle point naturally, and the weight of the metal construction helps keep the pistol steady between shots. It is a pistol that rewards a firm, two-handed grip, and with a little practice it is quick to get back on target for follow-up shots.

Compatibility
Uses Vorsk VP26X magazines; check before buying magazines intended for other P226-style replicas. The 20mm rail takes standard pistol lights and lasers, and the adaptor gives a 14mm CCW thread for suppressors and tracers. Light-bearing P226-pattern holsters are the best fit. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs.
Care and maintenance
Lubricate the magazine seals with silicone oil every few fills, avoid overfilling and store the magazine with a little gas in it. Keep the slide rails lightly oiled and wipe the pistol down after use; a soft cloth keeps the brushed finish free of fingerprints and dirt. Clean the inner barrel from time to time and never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
