This is a short silencer adapter for the Ares Amoeba Striker series, part number AS-FH-ADPT-001, as named. It lets you fit a suppressor to the muzzle of the rifle.

How it works
The adapter fits to the front of the rifle and gives a thread for a suppressor. Fitting
Make sure the rifle is unloaded and decocked. Remove any existing muzzle device, screw the adapter on by hand and then fit the suppressor. Check that the inner barrel does not protrude into the suppressor in a way that could clip BBs.

Care and maintenance
Keep threads clean and free of grit, and wipe them with a lightly oiled cloth now and then so parts screw together smoothly. Never force a thread: if it feels tight, stop, back it off and check you have the right thread and direction.
Remove suppressors and adapters after wet games and let them dry before refitting, and check from time to time that everything is still screwed fully home.
