Description
FMA PRC-152 Dummy Radio Case (OD) (TB999-OD)
The FMA PRC-152 Dummy Radio Case (TB999-OD) is an olive drab (OD) replica of the AN/PRC-152 radio, a handheld set widely carried by modern military forces. It is a dummy: it is a non-working case that gives your loadout the look of a real military radio.
Radios are one of the most recognisable items on a modern plate carrier or chest rig, and a PRC-152 replica in a radio pouch instantly makes a loadout look more authentic. The OD colour suits woodland, Ranger green and older-style US loadouts, and works well with multicam.
What a dummy radio case is for
Many players use a dummy radio purely for looks on milsim days and in photographs. Dummy radio cases of this kind are also often designed so a small handheld radio can be carried inside, letting you keep your real comms hidden in an authentic shell. Our listing does not say whether this case opens or what fits inside, so please check the product images and the dimensions before you plan around that.
Setting up your loadout
Carry it in a pouch made for the PRC-152 or a similar-sized radio, positioned where it will not get in the way of your magazines or your replica’s stock. If you pair it with a headset and push-to-talk, route the cables neatly so they cannot snag when you go prone or move through cover.
Key features
- Replica AN/PRC-152 radio case
- Dummy, non-working
- Olive drab (OD) colour
- Adds realism to milsim loadouts
- Fits PRC-152 style radio pouches
- FMA code TB999-OD
Compatibility
Designed to replicate the PRC-152, so it should suit pouches made for that radio. Check the product images and dimensions, and compare them with your pouch and any radio you plan to carry inside before ordering.
Care and maintenance
Wipe it down after muddy games and let it dry before putting it back in its pouch. If you carry a real radio inside, take it out after every game, dry everything thoroughly and remove the radio’s battery for long-term storage.
Who is it for?
For milsim players and loadout builders who want an authentic-looking PRC-152 radio in OD on their plate carrier or chest rig.
Please note: This is a dummy case and does not work as a radio. Radio, antenna, headset and pouch are not included unless shown in the product images.
