Description
Big Foot Rubber Machete (Black)
The Big Foot Rubber Machete is a rubber training and prop machete finished in black. It gives you the look of a large field blade on your kit without a sharp edge, and is a popular choice for jungle, survival and apocalypse-themed loadouts, for themed events, and for photos and film.
Big Foot makes a wide range of affordable props and tactical gear. The black version is a neutral choice that works with almost any kit, from black urban loadouts to woodland and jungle camouflage, and it is also available in tan.
Material and finish
Rubber keeps the machete light and slightly flexible, and makes it far safer to carry and handle than a real blade. Check the product images for the blade shape, handle design and whether a sheath is supplied.
At the site
Rules on rubber blades and tools differ a lot between sites. Some allow rubber knife or tool kills under strict rules, and many do not allow them in play at all, so always ask the marshals before taking it onto the field, and never strike another player with it unless the site rules allow it.
As a loadout piece, it can be carried in a suitable sheath on a belt, pack or plate carrier to complete a jungle or survival-style look.

Compatibility
A standalone item. If you want to carry it on your kit, choose a sheath or loop that holds it securely so it does not fall out while you move. Check your site’s rules first.
Care and maintenance
Clean it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then leave it to dry. Store it lying flat or hanging up rather than bent or squashed under heavy kit, and keep it away from radiators and strong sunlight, which can warp, harden or fade rubber over time.
Avoid solvents and oils on the surface, and check now and then for splits or tears; retire it if the rubber is damaged.
Who is it for?
This rubber machete suits airsoft players, reenactors and prop users who want a safe, realistic-looking blade prop in black.
Please note: This is a rubber prop and training item. Always follow your site’s rules on rubber blades.
