Description
Gate TITAN V3 Advanced Set
The GATE TITAN V3 Advanced Set brings GATE’s programmable TITAN control unit to AEGs with a Version 3 gearbox, found in most AK-pattern rifles. It swaps the trigger contacts for optical sensors and a built-in MOSFET, and the Advanced Set adds GATE’s Advanced firmware and a programming link so you can tailor the rifle from the start.
TITAN is GATE’s flagship drop-in system and is widely used by players and technicians. The Advanced Set is the middle tier of the range, giving you much more control than the Basic Module without the Bluetooth link included in the Expert Blu-Set.
How it works
With TITAN fitted, pulling the trigger no longer closes a pair of metal contacts. Instead, optical sensors read the trigger and the position of the gears, and the built-in MOSFET drives the motor. Knowing exactly where the gears are lets the unit stop the piston in the right place after each shot, apply active braking against over-spin and, if you choose, pre-cock the spring for a faster first shot.
The Advanced Set
With the Advanced Set, you can use the GATE Control Station to adjust trigger sensitivity, fire selector configuration, burst length, pre-cocking and rate of fire, view usage statistics and install firmware updates. This makes it a strong choice for players who like to set their rifle up precisely for their role and site. Check the exact programming link and accessories supplied in the box against GATE’s current pack contents.
Key features
- Drop-in TITAN unit for Version 3 gearboxes
- Optical sensors replace mechanical trigger contacts
- Built-in MOSFET with active brake
- Optional pre-cocking for faster trigger response
- Battery and motor protection
- Settings adjustable through the GATE Control Station
Compatibility
Designed for Version 3 gearboxes, used in most AK-pattern AEGs and some other designs. Gearbox shells vary between manufacturers, so check that your rifle uses a standard V3 pattern before ordering, and read GATE’s V3 installation manual before you start.
Care and maintenance
Keep the TITAN unit’s optical sensors free of grease and debris whenever the gearbox is open, and keep wiring routed away from the gears. Set the battery protection to match your battery type, disconnect the battery when the rifle is not in use, and store LiPo batteries safely.
Check GATE’s Control Station for firmware updates from time to time, and keep the quick-start guide for fault codes and resets. TITAN protects the electrics, but it cannot make up for a badly matched motor, spring and battery, so keep the rest of the set-up sensible.
Who is it for?
It suits AK and V3 rifle owners who want TITAN’s electronic trigger and the ability to fine-tune fire modes, trigger response and pre-cocking from day one.
Please note: Installation means stripping the gearbox and replacing the trigger assembly. If you are not confident working on AEG gearboxes, ask an experienced airsoft technician to fit it.
