What a compensator does
On a real pistol, a compensator redirects gas at the muzzle to reduce muzzle rise. Fitting
Hi-Capa compensators fit at the front of the slide and frame, around the outer barrel. Before fitting, make sure the pistol is unloaded with the magazine removed and no gas in the system. Field strip the pistol following its manual, fit the compensator as shown in the product images or any instructions supplied, and reassemble, checking that the slide cycles freely by hand before you add gas.
Custom parts sometimes need a little fettling on Hi-Capa clones, as tolerances vary between makers. If anything binds, stop and check alignment rather than forcing it, or ask a technician to fit it.

Hi-Capa clones and other slide lengths vary, and some pistols have frame rails or dust covers that need a matching compensator shape, so check your pistol’s make and model against the product images before ordering. Care and maintenance
Wipe the compensator and barrel with a lightly oiled cloth now and then to keep the finish looking good and protect against marks, and keep grit out of the joint between compensator and slide. Check that it is secure before each game, and use silicone oil rather than solvents on nearby gas parts.
