Description
GHK G5 16″ Carbine Kit (Black)
This is a GHK G5 16-inch carbine kit in black, listed for the GHK G5 gas blowback rifle. The G5 is GHK’s M4-style gas blowback carbine, built with close-quarters play in mind, and a carbine kit is a way to change its length and look to a 16-inch configuration.
GHK is a Taiwanese maker known for realistic, hard-kicking gas blowback rifles. Owners of the compact G5 often want a longer set-up for outdoor games, a different profile for a themed loadout, or simply a fresh look, and a dedicated kit for the platform is the neatest way to do that.
About the GHK G5
The G5 is a green gas blowback carbine with polymer upper and lower receivers, a full metal blowback system and metal internals. It has a monolithic upper rail with additional rail sections for accessories, a side-folding stock and ambidextrous controls. It uses its own G5 gas magazines.
Because the G5 is its own platform rather than a standard M4 receiver set, parts designed for it are the safest choice when you want to change its configuration.
What the kit does
As a 16-inch carbine kit, this is intended to give the G5 a 16-inch configuration. The exact parts supplied are not listed in our description, so please check the product photos to see what is included (for example any outer barrel, handguard, rail or fittings) and whether an inner barrel or hop-up parts are part of the kit. Contact us before ordering if you need confirmation.
Fitting a kit like this generally means partly stripping the rifle, so work carefully, keep track of small parts and refer to GHK’s manual for the G5.
Finish
This version is black. Black matches the standard G5 finish and suits almost any loadout. Check the photos to see how the colour compares with your rifle’s other parts.

Care and maintenance
When fitting, make sure the rifle is unloaded, the magazine is removed and there is no gas in the system. Use the correct tools, do not force parts together and do not overtighten screws in polymer parts.
After fitting, test-fire on a safe range before using it in a game and check that everything is secure. Clean the inner barrel periodically, keep moving parts lightly lubricated with silicone oil and wipe mud and grit from the kit after outdoor games.
Who is it for?
For GHK G5 owners who want to move their rifle to a 16-inch set-up, and for players who enjoy customising their gas blowback rifles.
Please note: The rifle, magazines, gas and BBs are not included. The parts in this kit are not listed in our description, so please check the photos. Always wear eye protection.
